As part of the highly anticipated International ETPA Conference in Berlin, we are excited to present an intensive and transformative session of Pneuma Breathwork, led by the renowned psychotherapist and founder of Pneuma Institute, Juan Ruiz Naupari.

Pneuma Breathwork is not just a breathing technique; it is a profound journey into the depths of the self, an exploration of consciousness, and a doorway to personal healing and transformation. This unique practice integrates the wisdom of ancient spiritual traditions with modern transpersonal psychology, creating a holistic approach that heals not only the body but the mind and spirit as well.

Materials to Bring for Participants:

Participants are encouraged to bring the following materials to enhance their experience during the Pneuma Breathwork session:

  • Mats: Comfortable inflatable mattresses (no yoga mats)
  • Blankets
  • Cushion or Pillow
  • Water
  • Handkerchiefs
  • Comfortable Clothing: Preferably light
  • Notebook
  • Eye Patch
  • Sharp Colors for the Mandala: Good quality pencils or markers

What is Pneuma Breathwork?

Pneuma Breathwork activates the body’s hormonal axis, initiating a neuropsychoendocrine adjustment that enhances both physical and emotional well-being. By consciously connecting with the breath, participants experience a profound state of physical well-being, improved immune function, and a natural healing of emotional and psychological wounds.

At the core of this practice is the intention to breathe light into every inhalation and exhalation, with the goal of connecting with the deepest part of our inner being. This connection allows for the healing of old traumas, depression, anxiety, and stress disorders. Through the breath, participants open themselves to a new reality, one that transcends the limitations of the ego and taps into the boundless potential of the spirit.

The Core Elements of Pneuma Breathwork

The practice’s unique characteristics can be summarized in three main pillars:

  1. Subtle Catharsis: A gentle but profound emotional release that allows individuals to confront trauma from a place of love and light, without the risk of re-traumatization.
  2. Transformation of Consciousness: Pneuma Breathwork helps participants manifest virtues hidden within their fears, enabling deep psychological healing.
  3. Understanding Multidimensionality: It facilitates the realization of the multidimensional nature of the human being, guiding participants toward higher consciousness and a more integrated sense of self.

One of the core aspects of this practice is catharsis from the heart—such as acceptance, love, and forgiveness—which holds immense transformative power. Unlike other forms of catharsis, which may reawaken trauma, Pneuma Breathwork enables healing by nurturing and releasing trapped emotions through compassion and higher awareness.

Healing from a Place of Love and Light

The catharsis experienced during Pneuma Breathwork is distinct in that any inquiry related to trauma must be approached with love and light. This method ensures that trauma is eradicated without reinforcing it, making it one of the most effective ways to process and transform pain into growth.

The transformation and change triggered by Pneuma Breathwork allow participants to manifest the virtues trapped within trauma, leading to true healing and empowerment. This process of healing, acceptance, and spiritual elevation is essential for releasing fears and dissolving the impact of past traumas.

Why Pneuma Breathwork?

  • Catharsis of the Heart: Acceptance, love, and forgiveness have immense transformative power.
  • A New Vision of Pranayama: This re-evolutionized breathing technique offers a fresh perspective on the power of breath and how it can be used to re-sublimate vital energy.
  • Multidimensional Healing: The practice supports not only physical well-being but also psychological healing and spiritual progression.
  • Integration of Mind, Body, and Spirit: Pneuma Breathwork enables participants to move beyond the ego, accessing their higher self for a complete healing experience.

Exploration and Catharsis from the Being

This intensive workshop will lead participants through a natural process of self-exploration. The goal is for individuals to connect with their inner healer, awakening a transpersonal journey within their mental and emotional dimensions.

By connecting with their Being, participants will experience a new form of catharsis, one that emerges from a higher state of consciousness and understanding, rather than the ego. This approach ensures true healing and prevents the risk of re-traumatization, fostering a profound transformation from within.
